Whew…crazy times. Between work and producing this series (more info available on that at http://www.film-local.com–perhaps I will write about it here someday?), I am definitely longing for the days of un/under-employment. Not permanently, of course, but…if I could be unemployed again for a week, that would be fun. But…I guess normal people call that vacation, huh?
Anyway, since the Packers are on a bye this week, without a game to watch I had time to post the drawings from the last few games. See, I haven’t totally abandoned you all–it’s just that scanning hand drawn pictures into my computer is a pain and it takes forever. But now that it’s done, enjoy! They were all wins too, so that’s a plus.
Week 7: St Louis Rams
Week 8: Jacksonville Jaguars
This one I actually didn’t draw–I was benched, due to extreme dizziness and complete exhaustion. You know you’re tired when you can’t even bring yourself to lift your head and watch television. Luckily, I was informed after the fact that there weren’t many draw-worthy events anyway.
Week 9: Arizona Cardinals
So here we are, with a record of 6-3 and a lot of injured starters. That’s a pretty scary place to start from as we begin a series of division games, not to mention facing off against the Super Bowl Champs as our regular season wraps up. Will we make the playoffs yet? At this point, I honestly can’t say–I’m hopeful, but wary, and neither outcome would really be a surprise. One thing I can say is that the Packers need to get their injuries sorted out right quick–it sucks to lose when you’re at your best, but losing because half your team is out injured is even harder to watch.
